The Downtown Auburn Business Association (DABA) has announced plans for the 2014 summer art exhibit.

The exhibit will feature (20) 26 inch Beach Cruiser Bicycles. The brand new bicycles are being provided by Moe’s Bikes and More of Auburn. Special stands are being made by local carpenter Pat Payton of Dink’s Woodshop, Auburn Indiana.

The stands are designed to elevate the bike’s rear wheel, thus allowing a person to pedal the bike in place. The “Pedaling Art” exhibit will be the first interactive art exhibit DABA has presented. The exhibit will be on display June thru September 2014.

The bicycles will be placed in the Downtown Auburn business district and will feature created art from local & regional artists.
Each entry will have a plate affixed to it identifying the title of the work, the artist, and sponsoring individuals and businesses.
