The Downtown Auburn Business Association (DABA) has announced plans for the 2013 summer art exhibit.
This summer’s exhibit entitled “Gather at the Gate” Auburn's gateway to Art will features (20) solid oak Garden Gates especially built by local carpenter Pat Payton of Dink’s Woodshop, Auburn Indiana. The exhibit will be on display June thru September 2013.
As with all the art exhibits sponsored by DABA, the garden gates will be placed in the Downtown Auburn business district and will feature created art from local & regional artists.
Cash awards will be presented at the end of the exhibit for the top three garden gates. Judging conducted by representatives of the Ft. Wayne Museum of Art. Peoples Choice awards will also be awarded by voter ballot.
Garden Gates will be auctioned to the highest bidder at the Annual Art Dinner Auction & Art Celebration on Thursday September 12, 2013. Tickets for this event are available now by calling Littlejohn Auctions at 260-925-2796. There is only 100 seats available.
