Downtown Christmas Parade-Tuesday Nov. 21st 2023 7 pm
Enter a float, dance group, horse drawn wagon/sleigh, cars, choirs, bands, civic organizations, church groups, school groups, etc. No Santas' or Mrs. Claus’. Use lights, make your entry shine! We will line up at the DeKalb Co. Fairgrounds. All entries must be there by 6:15 P.M.(Please remember it takes time to line everyone up).
DROP OFF ENTRY FORM AT CARBAUGH JEWELERS-DOWNTOWN AUBURN BY SATURDAY NOV. 18th. CASH PRIZES FOR 1ST, 2ND, & 3RD IN THREE CATEGORIES.
Guidelines for Christmas Parade
•
No Parade Entries Allowed in Fair Grounds before 5:30 P.M.
•No vehicles except parade entries allowed in fair grounds.
Please inform your participants. No Exceptions!Participants may be dropped off at the main gate – scout troops be sure your kids know where to meet or their troop # - we have several different troops and they get confused
•Santa Claus or Mrs. Claus will not be allowed in any parade entry. (There is only one Santa and he is at the end of the parade).
•You will be given your line-up position and number when you arrive.
•Visible identification required on every parade entry.
(i.e. – Boy Scout Troop 169-Auburn)
•Judging will take place at Bassett Office Supply. Stopping will not be allowed. Please keep some space between you and the entry in front of you. Judging categories – Creativity – Theme – Enthusiasm – Overall Presentation
•Parade ends at Court Yard Park downtown Auburn. (7th & Cedar streets).
You will be directed by parade personnel to parking lot adjacent to park.
Holiday Program & Awards Ceremony following parade in park.
